The world nowadays is growing increasingly complex and organisations are ever-changing, resulting in a mounting demand for project managers. For this reason, the Masters in Project Management and Administration (MPMA) is primarily aimed at preparing professionals in project management in times of change, aware of how complex the world that surrounds them is and capable of finding sustainable solutions to the conflicts that arise in the organisations where they work.
In changing environments, the strategic side of project management and guiding organisations using projects is vital to remain competitive. In this context, two things are essential:
A. The organisation must be trained to acquire:
- Knowledge of its environment and how suitable its resources are
- Knowledge and control of its cost function
- Estimation of the elements in its value chain
- IT support for the entire management system
B. Active self-learning entails:
-
Creating project teams aimed at accomplishing objectives
-
The involvement of these teams in the area of the professional career, committed to the objectives of the company
-
The need for permanent professional training on behalf of the staff of any organisation
The Masters in Project Management and Administration aims to provide students with the knowledge, techniques and skills necessary to turn employees into high performance professionals.

|
Train creative and innovative people capable of enhancing the way in which production processes are currently managed in their respective organisations and launching new products. This entails acquiring the techniques and knowledge necessary to manage projects using the student’s own experience as a basis, from the perspective of sustainability.
Our courses have seven clearly identified objectives:
1. Learn to value time and organise work using projects
2. Be able to rebuild a project following the Masters’ method based on international standards in project management, while at the same time learning the basics of project management
3. Be prepared to pass the exams of the most important professional certifications in project management: PMP-PMI, TDP/PDP-IPMA and PRINCE 2
4. Embark on a professional career as a project manager and consolidate your C.V.
5. Learn the main sources of information and the best practices in project management through the experience of the foremost professional associations at international level
6. Learn to design a Management Plan for the change from a Functional Organisation to a Matricial Organisation
7. Achieve third-party sponsorship to finance your course
Our courses aim to take advantage of students’ talent and activate their emotional and knowledge capital accordingly in order for them to position themselves within their organisation. The objective is not only to train project managers, but also to enhance the professionalism of those who participate so that they will be able to take risks without fearing change. By mastering tools such as systemic thinking, forward thinking and the body of knowledge in project management, students are to a great extent provided with the basic tools necessary to lead the change required by organisations. | |
|
The MPMA is designed as an open forum of ideas, experience and knowledge in which each student plays an active role and is responsible for his/her own learning process. OdPe proposes constructive, adapting, self-led and cooperative self-teaching by way of a multi channel professional training system that facilitates both individual and team work. Students acquire a semi-professional status during this process by working on the conflicts in their organisations and attempting to find solutions.
Our self-led method of learning is based on a dynamic and open conception of and feedback from the courses themselves. All of this is the result of six types of conflicts that project managers must confront on a daily basis:
1. Partial knowledge of the real situation
2. In business and organisations, the “client” is king
3. The fact that most organisations are inefficient
4. The widespread habit of project managers of waiting for orders from their superiors in project processes
5. How difficult it is to make personal, professional and family life compatible. This method is structured in contents grouped into sections that are at the same time based on teaching units, as the basis for the entire system
6. Employees must show they are prepared to accept the responsibilities they are given
